Our Ambition

Bristol Chess began with a simple idea: the Bristol and District Chess League is the main point of focus for the game, but there are many more events and organisations that exist outside its influence. We aim to bring together all strands of chess in the city to make sure there are opportunities for everyone to take part.

Our Mission

At Bristol Chess, our mission is to:

• Create a one stop shop for local chess clubs and events
• Produce an online magazine for everything that happens in the local area
• Show a map of clubs and tournaments in the surrounding area
• Support junior activities and education
